Whether you are a graphic designer or not, you will have to answer this question at some point in your life. The way I feel about fonts is the same way the first person in line at 4 a.m. on a black Friday feels towards the items on sale - I just can’t get enough of it.
Some people spend a long time on Pinterest searching for cool how-to’s, others stay up late looking for the right pair of shoes, but I like to spend my time looking for cool fonts like I had to wear them for graduation. I’m taking my first typography class this semester so I am in no position to teach about type, but I am going to share with you some fonts that I fell in love with recently and that you should consider using.
The font choice is the first thing I look at to know if someone has good taste or not, simply because you would never see something great written in Comic Sans or Zapfino (is their use still legalized?) Since I don’t have a blockbuster budget to spend on fonts, I go to websites such as Font Spring, Font Squirrel, My Fonts, Behance, Veer for great type. PS – if you know of a good website for downloading fonts, let me know! This may sound very nerdy of me, but I often go on those sites and make wish lists of fabulous fonts with unreal price tags. Who knows maybe one day they’ll start making wedding registries in font sites. - Pati

Ooh! Me, too! I LOVE fonts! Though I find that simple is usually best, in the long run. I pin lots of font stuff, too– I get all swoony over a good-looking font. ;)
Veneer looks awesome.

oooh thanks for sharing! I LOVE type, but am not good at it. I would love to take a class, and I too stay up late looking for new fonts:) Glad to see someone shares an interest in type like I do.
