This weekend has been quite intense because it was my first time going to carnival celebrations as an adult. I believe last time I was seen at a carnival, I had barbie sneakers on…it was a long time ago. Rio never fails to surprise me. I discovered today that the famous soccer player Ronaldo lives on the same block as the apartment where I’m staying! Oh Rio. I’ve been here many times, yet every time I come there’s something new to look at. In this case, it happens to be men dressed up as women…I’m talking about lots of glitter, high heels and very short dresses, now that’s some serious carnival stamina you got there because I wouldn’t wear heels on the beach even if it were my wedding…Oh, carnival.

I’ve always wanted to visit Rio! Especially during the Carnival, as it just looks like so much fun and all those sparkles and dancing, they make a girl like me want to dress up and dance too, even if I’ve got no rhythm! I’m thinking of trying to get over there for the Olympics in 2016 if I can get tickets, what an experience that would be!
I would LOVE to go to Rio during Carnival one day – it sounds like an unforgettable experience!

You will be seeing Carnival with brand new eyes if the last time you experienced it was when you were a child! How fun! I have never been to Rio but would LOVE to go – I don’t think there’s any city that looks prettier and more magical from up above. Seeing that view puts stars in my eyes!

I really want to visit Rio! I can’t imagine what it’d be like for Carnival, it sounds insane, I hope I get to experience it one day.
