SHE KEEPS SMILING

Received the sad news today that my last grandma is no longer with us. She always amazed me with her good humor and her life story of having to leave China in her 20s to a new country, Brazil and raising four kids on her own without even speaking the language. The way she talked and dealt with things made everything seem so easy. Today I celebrate her life and what she left behind: courage, wisdom, affection and an entire family that will forever miss her. Para Vovó Bessie. With love. - Pati
