STAYING WARM WITH COLOR

cover

Even though it’s not nearly as cold in Sao Paulo as it is in Wisconsin, it’s been chilly the past few days here and I felt like it was time for some visual warmth. Lately I’ve been needing to get out of my color comfort zone - which would be yellow and coral pink. I was so happy to find Xochi Solis’ quirky color combinations below because they’re so irreverent in a way – mixing pastels with vivid blacks and oranges.

If you’re ever stuck when picking out colors, don’t hesitate to look at photos or paintings for inspiration. Not only these are beautiful but the colors together create very different moods. -Pati

PS – have you been noticing the changes on the blog that have been happening over the last few weeks? Soon soon you’ll see more!
