I’m headed to Rio de Janeiro this weekend as carnival starts on Saturday. I’m excited and nervous at the same time, it’ll be my very first carnival in Rio and I hear it’s very crowded. There’ll be lots of live music and dancing though, which I love. So wherever you are, I’m wishing you a happy weekend, full of confetti and music - Pati

things i’m looking forward to:

- seeing people dressed up with costumes, feathers and lots of glitter.
- hearing live Brazilian music literally from almost every direction.
- the beach, the sun and chilled coconut water.
